Building brighter futures

At House of Redmore, we have ambitious plans for the future, with growth and value creation as key drivers. We want to achieve this growth in a fair, responsible, and sustainable manner. It is our highest priority to have a positive impact on our employees, the environment, and society, both for House of Redmore and its boutiques. We feel a responsibility to actively contribute to these goals, and we know that if you want to be and remain a strong and healthy company, the environment in which you operate must be too.

More energy better results

We make an impact on the environment by reducing our ecological footprint. This objective is an important part of House of Redmore’s overall business operations. We have ambitious goals in this area, but we also attach great importance to what we are already doing.

We offer our employees alternative and more sustainable mobility solutions. With flexible arrangements that promote electric driving, cycling, and public transport. Our buildings are energy-efficient. And we strive for sustainable procurement with suppliers who meet important ESG criteria.

Stay healthy, stay ahead

We also make an impact by investing in the growth and development of our professionals. Through our boutiques, we offer extensive training opportunities and regularly measure employee satisfaction on key aspects of good employment practices. A number of boutiques have their employment practices assessed externally and independently by organizations such as Great Place to Work, with the results being used to improve personnel policy.

Among other things, this has led to a variety of wonderful traditions that improve the well-being and health of our people. Boutiques organize vitality days and training sessions, offer healthy lunches at the office, and some of them cleverly combat waste by using a registration system. Sport is an integral part of our company. During weekly boot camps at the office, or during annual sporting events that raise money for charity. Every year, our colleagues are ready at the starting line to participate in events such as the Roparun, Zevenheuvelenloop, and TCS Business Run.

More diversity, higher quality

House of Redmore is not for one club, but a club of all colors and preferences. We strive to achieve more in the area of diversity and inclusion. That starts with doing more. And above all, doing our best. Our Code of Conduct is our guiding principle in this regard.

We take action to address issues that do not meet our high standards. With internal and external independent confidential advisors. And a digital reporting center to freely expose experiences with undesirable behavior. In our recruitment activities, we experiment with innovative ways to recruit more objectively and fairly. Because we believe that quality, not partiality, should be rewarded.

We offer knowledge about diversity and inclusion through mandatory e-learning courses, because we recognize that learning is a continuous process. From each other and about each other. Our ESG working group, with representatives from each boutique, focuses on D&I as a key objective and involves professionals in reviewing working methods and developing ideas. Because we believe that diverse and inclusive policies for our people should be something we manage and shape together.

PARTNERSHIPS

A better world starts with you, but we create the best world together. That’s why our boutiques support initiatives that are also committed to making a social impact. Here in the Netherlands or overseas. We build houses in countries such as Cambodia and Romania, together with Habitat for Humanity. We sponsor children’s aid programs, together with Net4Kids. Through our participation in the Roparun, we are able to contribute to palliative care for people with cancer every year. We support initiatives such as Stichting Studeren & Werken Op Maat (Study & Work Tailored to Your Needs Foundation) in their mission to find a suitable workplace for everyone. We encourage talent in the cultural sector through our contribution to the Netherlands Film Festival and we make a social impact with the 3×3 Unites program.

This is how we keep ourselves on track

Impact must be measurable, fair, and transparent. That is why we regularly assess whether our business operations comply with recognized sustainability standards. The ESG assessment by Ecovadis and various ISO certifications ensure that we stay on track when it comes to reducing our ecological footprint and maintaining complete transparency about our business operations.
